PREPARATION OF CHICKEN AND SPINACH ALFREDO CASSEROLE
- Prepare ingridients: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Brush a small ovenproof dish lightly with olive oil or a spray, if available.
- Layer Spinach and Chicken: Place half of the fresh spinach in the bottom of your baking dish. Spread this layer with the diced chicken in an even layer.
- Mix and Spread Alfredo Sauce: Greek yoghurt, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk all together until it becomes creamy smooth; spread over the chicken with spinach.
- Add Topping: Put the remaining spinach on top and add some extra Parmesan cheese to taste for an additional layer of flavour and to brown.
- Bake the Casserole: Bake it for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven till the cheese browns slightly, melting all over, then complete casserole effervescence through 1 to 2 minutes in a topping broiler.
